The Iron is a cherished institution in our community that has brought joy, sometimes frustration, but most of all pride and unity in our community.

It is with a heavy heart that we witness the financial and operational challenges that threaten the existence of our beloved football club.

We have been inspired by how ordinary members of the community have rallied round in this time of crisis, successfully raising tens of thousands of pounds to help pay staff wages.

We, the supporters and community of Scunthorpe, call upon all relevant stakeholders, including North Lincolnshire’s Conservative Council, to get aroud the table and take immediate action to save Scunthorpe United.
