It is really important that as many local people as possible let Health Chiefs know what they think about the plan to transfer some aspects of some complex medical, urgent and emergency care and children’s services from Scunthorpe Hospital to Grimsby.

You can do this by going to the drop in consultation at the Pods on Friday 20th October some time between 12 and 8pm.

Locally people from all perspectives, including myself, have raised serious concerns about what is being proposed. North Lincolnshire Council at its last meeting was unanimous in expressing its concern about the current proposals.

The local Labour Party has launched a petition that highlights the principle concerns we have.
